Kabutenyo festival

Kabute or in English mushroom is main theme of this festival, this festival mainly contains street dancing, a trade fair and a culinary contest which of course have kabute as the main ingredient. It is celebrated on the 13 March in General Mariano Alvarez in the town know as the mushroom capital Cavite.

  Paru-paro festival The city of Dasmariñas has undergone changes. From historically being a part of Imus to a municipality in 1864 and finally, declared as an independent city , on Nov 26, 2009, through out the years has metomorphisized into it's final form. The city's unique changes and growth reflect the life cycle of a butterfly.
